Volunteer Hub
Healthwatch Bromley works with the Your Voice in Health and Social Care (YVHSC) Volunteer Hub to recruit and manage our volunteers, interns and work placements. The Hub’s dedicated team will be there to support you every step of the way – and if you’re not from Bromley, don’t worry, we provide placements in other boroughs too!
If you want to find out more about a Volunteer role at Healthwatch Bromley and what is involved we suggest you take a look at our volunteer roles which can be found here.
If you are not sure about which role to go for, why not call the Healthwatch Bromley office on 020 388 60752 or the Volunteer Hub on 020 3886 0839 or 079 4439 1223 to have a chat with a member of the team.
Once you are ready to apply you can either directly register, by creating an account on our Better Impact system, here, or get in contact with the Volunteer Hub to progress your application. The Volunteer Hub can be reached on 020 3886 0839 or 079 4439 1223 or email vip@yvhsc.org.uk
Once you have applied you will be invited for a short interview by the Volunteer Hub staff and then be placed within the Healthwatch Bromley team. We usually allow between 2-4 weeks (including your DBS check) from application to starting your volunteer role.
Healthwatch Bromley offers some exciting and active opportunities to get out into your community and really make a difference. Whether you enjoy meeting and talking with people, or prefer data crunching behind a spreadsheet there are a variety of opportunities to suit. We will also always work to encourage volunteers to step outside of their comfort zone and build new areas of experience and expertise, adding to your skill set and future employability.
We look forward to welcoming you to the team!
