Bromley Healthcare launches new bladder & bowel conditions service to support children and young people
In March 2023, Bromley Healthcare launched a new specialist nurse-led service to support children and young people with bladder and bowel conditions in Bromley.
The service will ensure that children and young people over the age of 5 who have not toilet trained or have urinary or faecal incontinence, including those with additional needs, will receive regular bladder and bowel health assessments and support for toilet training skill development and have access to an equitable service.
The Bromley Children and Young People’s Bladder and Bowel service is led by Clinical Nurse Specialists. Our Nurse specialists provide inclusive assessments, advice and education for bladder and bowel health, toilet training and ways to promote independence.
