Carers’ Week – 7 to 12 June 2021

Please see the lineup of events Bromley Well has planned to pay tribute to the huge contribution unpaid carers bring to society!
Are you a Carer?
A Carer is someone who, without payment, provides help and support to a friend, neighbour or relative who could not manage otherwise because of frailty, illness or disability.
Bromley Well Carers support services are for:
- Young people who care for others – Young Carers
- Adults in mutually caring relationships when there is one person aged 55+ – Mutual Carers
- Adults caring for other people – Adult Carers
- Adults who care for people with poor mental health – Mental Health Carers
Why register as a carer?
You don’t have to tell anyone that you’re a carer, but it can be useful to register as a carer if you are trying to access certain grants or services.
You can register with the Bromley Well Carers Support Service by calling Bromley Well freephone 0808 278 7898 or email spa@bromleywell.org.uk. Don’t forget to ask your GP to register you as a carer too.
Carers Respite
Bromley Well provides respite services, also known as sitting services, for carers.
