Enter & View: Homefield
The visit was announced and planned in partnership with the home. In preparation, we shared with the home a poster announcing the E&V to display in communal areas and copies of questionnaires which explain the purpose of E&V in further detail.
Following the visit, our official ‘Enter & View Report’ was shared with the service provider, local commissioners and regulators. It outlines what has worked well, and makes recommendations on what could work better.
On this occasion, we received a reply from the home manager saying that they had read through the report and would be discussing some of the operational recommendations contained with their line manager. At home level, the home manager will work through some of the recommendations made for improvement purposes. They said that they appreciated our input and it was great to read through remarks from relatives and staff.
