Winter vaccinations 2023

The NHS is offering flu and COVID-19 vaccines to those at greater risk of serious illness this winter. Those who can get both vaccines through the NHS includes everyone aged 65 and over, pregnant women, care home residents, people with certain health conditions, frontline health and care staff, unpaid carers and household contacts of those at higher risk.

Over 371,450 flu vaccinations and 231,200 COVID-19 vaccinations have been delivered in south east London over the past 5 months which is a great achievement for all those involved.

While the national booking systems closed in December, vaccinations are still available to those eligible:

After 31 January, the COVID-19 vaccine offer will close until a future seasonal campaign. If someone develops a new health condition or starts treatment that severely weakens their immune system, they may be able to get vaccinated sooner and should speak with their clinician. Flu vaccines are available until 31 March.
